Romeo + Juliet is based on a William Shakespeare's play which is called Romeo and Juliet. There is a conflict between Motague and Capulet in modern Verona, Italy. A young couple finally dies for their pure love.
The film makes me to be absorbed to watch it than the original play because the background of film is modern society where I live now and an actor who is Leonardo DiCaprio. They use guns so make intensive tensions between two family's conflict. It also uses slow motions about their fight, so viewers can feel more thrilled and suspence. Music are really perfect every single scene. It helps to understand better with dialogues. My favourite scene is Mercutio's death. When he is upset and fights for Romeo and gets injured by Tyblat, He talks himself. At this situation, the weather is suddenly changed to be tough and rainning as he's mood has been changed. I love the way to express the feeling with screen and music. It's impressive to not to forget this scene.
